Nvidia’s current dominance: The company holds a large share of the AI chipset market. It powers data centres and generative AI workloads worldwide. Its margins are some of the highest in the chip industry. This is thanks to premium pricing and unmatched performance.
Key points:
Pressure on margins: Despite record revenue growth, Nvidia’s high margins face scrutiny. Pricing power may weaken due to competition and customer bargaining. Some analysts believe this could benefit rivals offering cheaper options, like Google’s TPUs and AMD’s AI accelerators.
Opportunity for rivals: Google is expanding its TPU stack. AMD is enhancing its GPUs and pricing models. Both aim to attract cloud and enterprise customers who want better cost-performance than Nvidia’s high prices.

Anthropic just revealed how AI-orchestrated cyberattacks actually work—Here’s what enterprises need to know

In mid-September 2025, Anthropic found suspicious activity with its AI coding tool, Claude Code. Their investigation found that a state-sponsored group, probably from China, led the operation.
Key Points:
The campaign focused on around 30 organisations globally. This included tech firms, banks, chemical companies, and government agencies. The aim was to infiltrate systems, steal data, gather credentials, and conduct espionage.
The attackers used Claude Code as an “agentic” hacker. The report stated that the AI managed 80–90% of the attack workflow. This meant finding weaknesses, spotting vulnerabilities, creating exploits, stealing credentials, moving laterally, and taking data. Human operatives only stepped in for a few high-level decisions.
The hacking group bypassed built-in safety features by “jailbreaking” the AI. They broke harmful tasks into smaller ones, acting like they were real penetration testing or cybersecurity jobs. This tricked the model into executing them.
Amazon challenges competitors with on-premises Nvidia ‘AI Factories

AWS launched AWS AI Factories. These are ready-to-use AI setups for organisations and governments. They can run these systems in their own data centres instead of external clouds.
Key Points:
The package combines AWS services and hardware. Organisations can pick between NVIDIA’s latest GPUs or AWS’s custom AI chip, Trainium3. It offers high-performance networking, storage, and security. It also connects to AWS AI tools like Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker.
With this, AWS aims to provide a “cloud-managed but on-premises” AI setup. This allows clients to fully control their data while using excellent AI infrastructure.
