Anthropic and Accenture sign multi-year AI strategic partnership

What’s going on: Anthropic + Accenture join forces

Anthropic and Accenture have formed a multi-year strategic partnership. They created the Accenture Anthropic Business Group. Its role is to help businesses move from AI pilots to full-scale production.

Key Points:

  • Around 30,000 Accenture staff will train on Anthropic’s models, mainly the “Claude” family, as part of the agreement. Developers will also access Claude Code, marking one of the biggest corporate uses of Claude to date.

  • The partnership includes a joint offering for CIOs and enterprise clients. This will offer tools and consulting to help organisations measure ROI. It will help integrate AI into workflows. This includes regulated fields like finance, healthcare, the public sector, and life sciences.

OpenAI is starting its first certification programs. It starts with courses like “AI Foundations” for the workplace and “ChatGPT Foundations for Teachers.”

Key points:

  • The goal is to help people build practical AI skills. This includes prompting, using tools, and integrating workflows. This will give employers a way to verify who is really “AI-fluent.””

  • OpenAI aims to certify 10 million people by 2030. This includes workers, educators, and “non-technical” professionals, not just programmers or data scientists.
